Description
A documentary survey report was carried out to determine the date at which Holywell Cottage was used as a pesthouse and whether or not any burials were likely to be associated with the building and grounds. All the research was conducted at the SRO. The date of construction was established and it is highly unlikely that any burials are associated. The research was concentrated on the period between 1665 and 1845 when the building and grounds were owned by the Guildhall Feoffment (S1).
