Description
Monitoring was carried out in Spring 2003, during the excavation of footing trenches during the restoration of a stable block, and the expansion into living accommodation at 40 College Street. The development involved the removal of some overburden from parts of the site.The footing trenches were excavated to a min of 1m-2m where there was natural chalk (S1).
