Description
Trail trenching was not conducted due to site constraints. Monitoring of the footing trenches for the new development revealed 1-1.5m of made ground dating to the modern to Victorian periods. The footing did not impact to archaeological depths and only a small area of disturbed natural geology was seen. No features were seen and a single residual late medieval to post medieval pot sherd was the only find of a pre-modern date.
