Description
2019: One visit was made to the site to monitor and record the slight groundworks at Lordswell Field, Eriswell in Suffolk. The work was carried out as part of the ‘Shifting Sands’ HLF project. The groundworks undertaken consisted of an area of approximately 120mx10m covering an area of
1,200sqm with approximately 0.05m of topsoil and vegetation pared off. The area was mapped, recorded, photographed and inspected for any finds or exposed archaeological deposits. (S1)
