Description

Evaluation trenching for a planned extension and cart lodge in the curtilage of a 16th century farm house did not reveal any archaeological features though two small sherds of medieval coarseware suggests this date for the origin of the farm site while the remainder of the stray finds were of later Post medieval date. Two trenches 0.5m deep were excavated.
