Description
Evaluation trenching for a three dwelling development on the southern edge of Tye Green did not reveal any archaeological features to the rear of the site except a small pit of recent date and a large pit of 20th century date while at the front extensive brick foundations for a 19th century Malthouse had removed any earlier
deposits.
