Description
An archaeological evaluation at the Five Bells Inn, 63 Bures Road, Great Cornard, Suffolk. A total of four trenches were excavated. The trenches were excavated within the overgrown garden area to the east of the Inn through deep overburden layers containing modern material. No archaeological features were revealed, and a single prehistoric struck flint was recovered from subsoil layers.
