Description
2019: Suffolk Archaeology CIC conducted a small-scale excavation, compromising a 30m by 30m area, which was slightly extended to the north and east, on land north and east of Hill Farm Road, Halesworth. This involved the removal of up to 0.8m of topsoil and subsoils until the first visible archaeological surface or natural surface was encountered. (S1)
