Description
Archaeological Monitoring of Several Geotechnical ground investiagations works, on the southern side of RAF Lakenheath. A variety of ground investigation techniques were employed, comprising borehole, window sample (WS), soak-away (SA), foundation inspection, and dynamic cone penetration (DCP) test hole. The works recorded no features or finds, but generally the soil profiles appeared well preserved, with any significant levels of modern truncation being isolated.
