Description
Following removal of the crop in September 2017 the area to be surveyed by magnetometry and resistivity was field-walked. This was followed by the magnetometry and resistivity survey. - In August 2019 a 10m by 2m trench was hand dug by STAG members across what was believed to be the site of a ditch surrounding the potential motte or primary ringwork. The subsoil was reached at 50cm.
