Description

An archaeological excavation was undertakend on land at Chantry Vale, Wolsey Grange, Ipswich in advance of a large residential development. This was following geophysical survey in 2014 and two phases of archaeological evaluation in 2015 and 2018 of the 24.3ha development site, two excavation areas, totalling c.1,044sq, were targeted upon remains in the centre and south-east of Field 1 in the north-east of the site.
