Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertakend on land to the East of Ixworth Road, Thurston for a residential development. The evaluation consisted of the excavation and investigation of sixty five 30m trenches at 1.8m wide (a total of 1,950m of trial trench). One trench (Trench 8) was only partially excavated as a concrete service pipe was found to extend along its entire length.
