Description

The survey was conducted by Professor Christopher Gaffney of University of Bradford, with volunteers from the Suffolk Archaeological Field Group, on behalf of the Rendlesham Revealed community archaeology project. Three geophysical survey techniques were used to target several areas: Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) which surveyed sections at increasing depths, Electromagnetic Induction (EM) which measured the conductivity and magnetic susceptibility at three different depths, Electrical Resistivity Tomography which takes sections through the ground.
