Description

An archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks prior to the construction of a new detached building at Moat House, Banyards Green, Laxfield, Suffolk. The groundworks consisted of an area strip, machine excavated to a depth of c.0.3m - 0.4m. The footprint of the stripped area covered an area approximately 20m by 14m. The ground level reduction followed the demolition of an existing building and the lifting of a concrete hard standing within the development area.
