Full Description
Roman Republican denarius, circa 79 BC, obv. head of Juno Sospita to right with a goat head-dress, rev. a gryphon prancing to right, underneath L.PAPI (for L. Papius). Edge nicked at regular intervals all around. Found with a metal detector (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S1).
