Shown as unroofed standing walls only at TL 9106 6400 on OS 1958 & 1978 maps (S2).
Park, fishponds, lodges and stables still survive.
HER'd boundary of site expanded to include park (as mapped by OS in 1880s) 20 February 2007.

2018:Rougham New Hall was constructed in the early 1820s in the Tudor Gothic style under the direction of the architect Thomas Hopper. The initial phase included the construction of a gatehouse range which stands to the north of the Hall. The Estate was sold in 1893 with the new owner improving and enlarging the Hall and stable court, aswell as a clock turret to the gatehouse. A purpose designed building for the generation of electricity and the supply of water was also constructed during this time. The Estate was sold again in 1904 with further alterations to the Hall being undertaken. The Hall was largely destroyed in 1940 with the standing remains of the 1820s mansion providing a picturesque ruin with the contemporary gatehouse range providing a backdrop. Both the 1820s gatehouse and the 1890s generator house are redundant and in need of an alternative use which would secure the future of these non-designated heritage assets (S3).
