From NHRE record:

(TL 7883718). Romano-British building material and coins found. Nothing visible on RAF air photographs. (S1)

TL 789718. Surface spread of coarse grey pottery found by G Moss who retains possession. (S9)

The site is located on a small plateau in a commanding position above the river valley. Perambulation produced five sherds of Romano-British coarse grey ware but there was no concentration and no building debris was seen. The Tithe Map of 1839 shows the field as unnamed pasture. The coins are probably with the late Major Lucas's collection in Mildenhall Museum, but this could not be verified. (S10)
