Full Description
In Martlesham file at IPSMG, a letter from R Cubitt, Bloomsfield Farm, Martlesham, dated December 25th 1934, gives permission for Maynard to dig. There's s pencilled note from Maynard and a sketch of the site on the back of the letter. Note says "wrote letter of thanks on behalf of committee Jan 18th after finish of excavations".
Trial holes were negative (S1).
