Full Description

Small cast flanged axe with slight stop-ridge. Length 7.2 cms, weight 78.37 gms. Found at Canada Farm, Icklingham, in 1878. Formerly part of Sir John Evans collection. An axe in the Arreton tradition of the late EBA (S1)(S2)(S3)(S4).
