Full Description

Bronze socketed axe, plain, appears sharp and in good condition (S4). "Found 15.11.57 in field. Note: three similar ones found together in 1951 some 200 yards W at approximately TL 855 757" (S1)(S2) - CUL 006. Formerly recorded (Barnham 008) as from "Barnham, Culford Heath (TL 859 758)" (S1)(S2), however, findspot marked by Edwardson with cross on BSEMH record map at TL 8593 7575 in Culford parish (S3) is taken to be correct. Note Culford 006 also recorded as from "Barnham" by Edwardson.
