Full Description

August 1989: Watching brief on new rear extension to timber framed building. Trench dug to 0.8m then abandoned - new construction to be rafted. Three auger holes in base of trench located natural in one and solid brick & stone (possibly a foundation) at 1.5/1.6 feet below street level in other two. Medieval pottery found, (S1-S3).
