Full Description

Small scatter of unglazed C13-C14 pottery, tile fragments and oyster shells on the edge of a field, adjoining the road.
The scatter lies in what was a narrow strip field of 2.75 acres, which is now amalgamated with other fields. The narrow field was called Pond Field in 1840 (S1). Since at least 1606 this field has been a separate copyhold tenement of the manor of Hitcham called Bradox, Braddox or Little Broddocks (S2).
