Full Description
Ennals Farm. Fragmentary remains of a small moat to the NW of the existing farmhouse (C17). Only two arms, SW and NW survive. May have been a moated orchard.
This was a copyhold tenement of the manor of Hitcham called Brakes or Brakys; the Ennals name derives from the Ennalls family who held the property from 1729 until at least the 1840s (S1).
