Full Description
Fragment of pottery mask (long bearded Scarborough type ?) from face-jug C13/ C14. Surface find on land of Reydon Grove Farm. Donor uncertain as to whether it came from site of (sic) or from the same site as the brick fragments (REY 001 CRN 01124). Size approximately 2 inches x 1 1/4 inches. Green-glazed. Eye, bulbous nose and part of cheek beard present. Trace of curve of rim to which it was attached.
