Moat (remains of).
Three arms of moated site shown on 1839 Tithe Map (S1), adjoins field boundary on 4th side; field names One Hundred Acres (moated platform), Moat (ditches), Friers Piece (field to N & W), Ploughed Friers (field to east). Formed part of Aldham Priory farm. Only E side marked on 1:10000 map. Aldham Priory named on OS 1st edition map 1838. No known priory and no record of monastic manor in Aldham (note Hintlesham Priory nearby on monastic manor site).
