Full Description
Glass bottle, C17, height 9 7/8 inches (25 cm). Round, flattened body, with long narrow neck. Golden-brown glass. The contents were discarded but a urine test was positive, so may have been used as a witch bottle. Found by donor mortared into the wall of his garden. Given by R L Adams, Barnaby Cottage, High Street, Southwold (S1).
