Full Description
Dispersed Neo & BA scatter of burnt and worked flint, pottery, animal bone etc. On very sandy area at NE end of OS Field 0042 (scatter F4a). Tight groups of objects found at extreme NNW boundary of field & adjoining field suggest recent disturbance of features in this area. Scatter located by Colin Pendleton and Patrick Norman. Finds include barbed and tanged arrowhead (P Norman A1), crudish tanged arrowhead (C Pendleton A142) found together with a group of 9 potsherds, 1 flake and 5 animal (?) bones (K77) from NNW boundary (S1). Area includes burnt flint patch, MNL 289. Also Neo.
