Full Description

Small Neo/EBA scatter of burnt & worked flint & stone on sandy hillock in area of hummock & hollow micro-relief. Finds collected by Colin Pendleton and Patrick Norman include part of polished flint axehead (catalogue number B28); flake of polished stone axehead (B29), petrological number S139 (not sectioned), previously listed under MNL 023; a stone grinder/polishing stone (K42) and micellaneous scrapers, worked flints etc. Also leaf shaped arrowhead to E from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) approximately (P Norman A11)(S1).
Also polished stone, group VII (S2, S141) axe (B36) found potato harvesting, believed to be from this field (S1).
