Full Description

`Martello Tower O' marked on OS 1st edition map (S1). 1880s OS map not checked. Not visible on 1900s maps. Presumably eroded into sea. Grid reference approximate, after (S1) S of `grave yard', FEX 075.
Built 1810-1812.
Demolished in 1838 as a result of encroachment by the sea (S2).
Possibly on the site of Raynham Redoubt, see map of 1785 in the parish file,
