Full Description

`Martello Tower X' marked on OS 1st edition map (S1). Grid reference approximate after (S1). Built circa 1810-1812.
The tower was demolised prior to 1937 (S3).
The foundations of the tower formed the base of a second World War gun emplacement (S2).
The remains of the tower were completely gone by 1975, coastal erosion (S3).
