Full Description
`Large leaf shaped point' found by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) on `triangular field' at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S1). Grid reference probably incorrect, triangular field is actually next field to E. Grid reference (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) sited on slight sandy hillock at W end of field.
Terry Towler finds (including above) given to brother, (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), whose findspots are occasionally inconsistent with those of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). However, he also has additional finds which he claims came from `hillock on (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)', which is consistent with above siting. These finds include unfinished bored hammer (from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)), a saddle quern, a slightly damaged stone axe and a white patinated flint axe 5" long (S1).
