Full Description

Lead papal bulla of Innocent IV;, 1243 - 1254. Diameter 1 1/2 inches (3.8cm), thickness (0.5cm), weight 1 1/2 ounces. Obverse SPA SPE heads of St Paul and St Peter. Reverse INNOCENTVS PP IIII. Found when digging sewerage trench on new building site (S1). Said to be associated with a flint surfaced roadway (S2).
