Full Description

Scatter of unglazed pottery sherds, C13-C14, and a lava mill stone fragment. Also one rim of Roman grey ware (S1).
Site lies at the south end of a green lane, on the neck of a small enclave of Milden parish that juts into Little Waldingfield. The scatter probably straddles the Milden/Little Waldingfield boundary. Much of the enclave was woodland in the C18 (S2).
Also Rom.
