Full Description

Bronze horse harness pendant in the form of an eagle displayed with a pierced lug attached to the top of the head. Cast in relief, various openings have subsequently been made with a drill between the head and the wings and between the legs and the tail. 3cm long x 2cm wide. Probably C14. Findspot given as TM 1677 (east half & next square east) between Oakley/Brome St Road and River Dove (S1)(S2).
