Full Description

Small five storey tower mill, built in the mid C19 by John Whitmore. it ceased work in 1935 and was subsequently dismantled. The tower still stands with the cap and some four feet of brickwork missing. There were four patent sails, an ogee cap and a fantail. One of the two pairs of stones remains as does most of the gearing. The mill is disused and becoming derelict (S1)(S2). Close to remains of C18-C19 smock mill, RAT 017.
