Full Description

Five-storey tower mill, dated 1839. It was tailwinded in early 1916 and was subsequently demolished. The shell of the stump remains. There were four patent sails and a boat shaped cap with gallery and fantail (S1). Called Office Farm (S2).
The tower mill dates to the 1839, but by 1889 had fallen into disuse, before being brought back into operation by 1904, at which time a granary was also constructed. By 1916 the mill is reported to have been demolished, and now stands at less than 25% its original height (S3).
