Full Description

Post mill (?with roundhouse) mapped by Greenwood in 1824; by Moore (on Estate map) in 1824; on enclosure map in 1825; by Bryant in 1825; on OS 1" map in 1837; on tithe map in 1839 and on OS 6" map in 1882 (S1-S3). Note buildings shown on approximate site of windmill on 1:2500 & 1:10000 OS maps within sub-circular shaped enclosure (S4).
Note Dolman questions whether this is the same as windmill site, MTF 005 - details recorded by S E West suggest not.
