Full Description
`Small three storey smock mill, built about 1820 by Barnes of Yarmouth and Reedham. It ceased work in the 1950s but has been preserved in working order since then by the County Council. Four new sails were fitted in 1970 and at present the mill is awaiting further repairs to the tower. There are four common sails, a boat shaped cap with tailpole and a scoop wheel' (S1)(S2). One of 16 best industrial archaeological sites in the county (S3).
