Full Description

`A section of Roman brickwork, 9ft 6ins thick and constructed on a mortared base, has been reported lying on the parish boundary 200yds S of the church, on the track leading E from the Thurston Road' (S1), i.e. circa TL 929 669. Despite the location cited above this is probably a confusion with Pakenham 005, where, in December 1950, a Roman wall 4.5 feet wide x 9.5 feet long, made of rammed chalky clay with an opus signinum base was revealed at TL 9310 6997 (S2)(S3).

Formerly recorded as PKM MISC
