Full Description
Cookley Green - outline shown on Hodskinson's Map of Suffolk, 1783, but appears to have been enclosed by the time of the OS, 1st edition map in 1837. Adjoined Cookley Wood on the NE side. Perhaps enclosed under an Act of 1808 (award 1812) affecting land in Eye, Brome etc (S1). Outline of Green not totally certain, especially the southern part.
