Summary

July 1991: 3/4 small scoops, circa 20-30cm deep (below ploughsoil) and circa 30cm wide, with charcoal rich fill and numerous burnt flints located and excavated during watching brief in advance of water pipeline following mechanical topsoil clearance.

Full Description

July 1991: 3/4 small scoops, circa 20-30cm deep (below ploughsoil) and circa 30cm wide, with charcoal rich fill and numerous burnt flints located and excavated during watching brief in advance of water pipeline following mechanical topsoil clearance. No dateable finds in direct association, a few flint flakes in general area. Details in (S1).
