Full Description

Bronze flanged axe from `Nr Lakenheath' in collection of Dr H Fawcett (S1). ?Same as EMBA flanged axe listed by Rowlands (S2) with `X' motif set in U-rib and diagonal rilling on flange sides, length 13.9cms (S3).
Fawcett believed to have been collecting in NW Suffolk circa 1940-1950.
