Full Description
December 1991: fieldwalking assessment of proposed rising sewage main route located scatter of Med pottery (site 3) along circa 70m length, along road frontage with (now infilled) pond to rear. Finds listed as:- 2 Thetford type ware rims, 2 rim 2 base and 21 Med body sherds and 1 fragment lava quern. Further investigation recommended. Named as Long Meadow on Tithe map (S1).
