Full Description

Grotto Lodge: named and marked on the 1835 map of Lakenheath Warren (S1). It has been suggested that this was built as an ornamental lodge for shooting parties in the early 1830s, however it could have been one of the three lodges known to have existed in 1649. No trace surviving in 1972 (S2).

(See LKH 115, LKH 143, LKH 221 for records locations of the three Lakenheath Warrener's Lodges)
