Full Description
Part polished flint axe/adze head of mid grey flint. Drawn length 18.7cms, width 6.5cms, thickness 3.5cms. Close to plano-convex cross section, polish mainly on upper `convex' side of blade. Found after sub-soiling to 21 inches depth on lightish land although heavy clay circa 100yds away (S1).
