Full Description

Church of St Mary. Decorated chancel, Perpendicular nave, no aisles, 21.5ft wide with double hammer beam roof. W tower of 1639, red brick. Inscriptions commemorating Chapman family and monument to Anthony Bedingfield, died 1652. Details in (S1).
1991: Part of Med floor recorded during restoration work, revealing site of former pews etc. Details in (S2). Some plain & decorated floor tiles near walls but not under pews (Carr RD, archive notes and sketches).
