Dovecote shown amongst a group of farm buildings in a painting of Little Haugh Hall executed in the early 1730s by Peter Tillemans (d. 1734) for the owner, Cox Macro (1683-1767)(S1). Dovecote believed to be no longer extant (S2). Field to east named 'Little Dovehouse meadow' on Tithe Apportionment.
