1905: `Knettishall Brick Works', kilns and various buildings shown in pitted area on OS 25" map (S1).
A brickyard is recorded in Knettishall in 1844 and a brick & tile manufacturer in 1891 (S2).
1983: Area shown as wooded (S3).
