Full Description
Jan - Feb 1993: Excavation of area of circa 300 sq m in advance of erection of `zonal workshop', located mass of features, mostly Rom in date. IA features include two portions of possible round house slots, and boundary ditches, all probably of LIA date. No finds were located within the IA features although the similarity in alignment of the ditches with some of the later Rom ditches suggest a late date.
Other IA finds from the site, consisting mainly of pottery (flint gritted) included an IA(?) flint quern stone fragment (S1).
