Summary

Silver seal matrix with the Suffolk Castle (badge of the Sheriff), the initials I W and a small crest with a bird (Wenyeve), indicating that this was the seal of John Wenyeve of Brettenham Hall, Sheriff of Suffolk 1784.

Full Description

Silver seal matrix with the Suffolk Castle (badge of the Sheriff), the initials I W and a small crest with a bird (Wenyeve), indicating that this was the seal of John Wenyeve of Brettenham Hall, Sheriff of Suffolk 1784. Found with a metal detector (S1).
